The Turing Foundation is a private Charity based in Netherlands which was established in 2006 by Pieter Geelen and his wife, using the wealth he acquired as co-founder of Tom Tom NV, a company listed at the Dutch stock exchange.
Since it was founded, the Turing Foundation has made donations or allocated donations for 300 (multi-) year projects totaling about €25,000,000.
